Spowers is seeking a Bid/Submissions Coordinator with a sharp eye for visual details, a flair for writing, and a passion for design-led storytelling. If you're someone who enjoys working across submissions, capability statements and presentation materials, and you take pride in crafting communications that win work, this could be the role for you.

You’ll work closely with Directors and Senior Management to develop high-quality bids and ensure our brand presence remains fresh, consistent and aligned. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our growth and public image while enjoying a strong studio culture that balances creative rigour with real work-life balance.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience as a Bid Coordinator or in a similar submissions-focused role

  • Minimum 1 year of InDesign experience

  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • A collaborative mindset and confidence working with senior team members

Your responsibilities will include

  • Coordinating, drafting and designing tender responses, EOIs and capability documents

  • Supporting, maintaining and developing our content library: CVs, case studies, templates and collateral

  • Liaising with directors, consultants and contributors to compile accurate and engaging submissions

  • Assisting with marketing communications, digital media and industry engagement

  • Helping format and polish documents, reports and diagrams for client presentations

  • Supporting occasional admin, reception or studio tasks as part of our shared team culture

Skills and experience

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (plus Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office

  • A keen sense of design and layout to ensure visually polished documents

  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities and work independently

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Qualifications in Communications, Design, Marketing or similar

  • Knowledge of the architecture, design or construction industry is highly valued
