This project was a joint venture with Darryl Jackson Architects.
Housing research facilities for 220 scientists, animal service facilities, 100 seat lecture theatre, seminar facilities and large presentation spaces; the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research is one of the world’s most pre-eminent medical research institutes.
Such a project is clearly organised into its research, educational and public functions. Services are wrapped around and through an explicit and rational laboratory frame.
