Spowers were engaged by the City of Stonnington to upgrade the main council depot co-located with the new waste transfer facility.
The development features a state of the art resource recovery centre including a waste transfer facility for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and a drop-off area for domestic self-haul waste (with inbuilt resource recovery options).
The waste transfer station also includes a resource recovery area for domestic self-haul waste which uses a saw-tooth wall design with six bulk bins and designated areas for separation of recyclable materials.
