The college has been designed around a compact learning environment with flexible and casual spaces and adaptable intelligent learning technologies, encouraging staff and student integration.
Four learning commons orbit a central courtyard. Flexible campus-like interiors are united creating a learning “mall” for exchange of ideas. The facility incorporates a wide variety of state-of-the-art technical systems and ESD principles such as a compact building shape, strategic fenestration and high values of insulation and daylighting to maximise comfort and learning outcomes. An in-ground conduct air supply system was installed for high comfort during hot and cold conditions.
